Children's ministry is one of the most important ministries in our churches. There are many approaches to training our children and thousands of resources available to assist us, but frequently at a prohibitive cost. If they don't have hundreds of dollars in a curriculum budget, children's leaders spend hours of their time and energy each week crafting lesson plans, copying coloring sheets, creating activities, and finding songs to help hone in on the message. By the time children start rushing in on Sunday morning, the teachers are already worn out. We understand because we've been those teachers!
Belden Kids™ was created to provide a high quality and low cost option for children's ministries that is interactive and comprehensive. Some preparation is required each week, but we have organized everything you need and made it easy to work with so that it's (almost) as much fun for the teachers as it is for the children.
- Each quarter, 13 themed lesson plans are sent to you with foundational topics like the Names of God, Heroes of the Old Testament, Heroes of the New Testament, the Beatitudes, the Fruits of the Spirit, and the Character of Jesus.
- Each week not only has the lesson plan and planning guide for the teacher but also activity sheets, review games, coloring pages, discussion points, certificates of completion, and posters for the room.
- Each week includes a customizable bulletin with scriptures and activities that correspond with the theme for the lesson that day to be handed out along with the adult bulletins, used in class, or taken home.
- Each quarter has two songs written specifically for the theme that comes with the listening track as well as the accompaniment track and the sheet music to make it easy for kid's choirs to practice.
- Each quarter is designed in two tracks: one track for 3-6 year olds and another for 7-12 year olds, both working through the same lesson but at a level appropriate for their age group.
All of this is mailed to you on an Enhanced CD and available for download on our website as part of a subscription that costs less than $30 per quarter.
